The safety and well-being of our members, exhibitors, sponsors, and partners are of utmost importance to us and with the spread of COVID-19 showing no signs of abating soon, we have made the decision to transform the 2020 ICMA Annual Conference, scheduled to be held in Toronto, Canada, September 23-26, into a Virtual Event.
While we can’t precisely replicate an in-person event, we are planning a world class digital experience that will allow you to step away from your workday challenges and immerse yourself in top-notch education sessions, exciting and engaging keynote speakers, a exhibitor experience with relevant and innovative product and service offerings, and robust opportunities to network and collaborate.
By making this decision well in advance of registration, our hope is to minimize any stress or inconvenience to you. We appreciate your patience as we finalize our new plans and event details over the next few weeks. Every member of the ICMA team, as well as our member volunteers are focused on building an unforgettable and unique experience for you.
While this certainly would not have been our preference, it will be another opportunity for reinvention—something ICMA has been doing for 106 years. While there is so much uncertainty in the world right now, there is one thing you can be sure of. ICMA will not let you down.
